Chevron Energy Solutions (CES) collaborates with development and investment partners to bring utility-scale renewable power projects online through its utility-scale solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and financial investment unit, Chevron Renewable Power.
Our engineering expertise and access to technology, backed by Chevron’s financial strength, means we can manage complex projects and follow through on our commitments. We build projects using the latest technologies to produce reliable, high–quality power for utilities and institutional off–takers.
Chevron Energy Solutions has successfully closed nine utility-scale, renewable energy projects since 2012 totaling over 149 MWdc.
Our people have participated in building more than one gigawatt of solar facilities, including their experience at other top solar engineering and construction firms. Our geothermal team is led by an expert who has been in the geothermal industry for more than 34 years working on projects in the United States, Philippines and Indonesia.
We actively pursue opportunities to invest in 10 to 150 megawatt utility-scale solar and geothermal projects as an equity investor. Our proven structure allows for efficiency in project economics, which translates into superior acquisition pricing for developers.
Solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction
We have a stand-alone solar EPC business that also performs all of the EPC services for projects where CES is an equity investor. We are able to deliver a successful, fully commissioned project to the owner at an agreed-to price. Our integrated approach allows us to achieve world-class performance with competitive economics.
